Structuring Data Migration Projects for Success

Duration - 2 days

Intensive workshop led by Johny Morris the leading Data Migration Expert in the UK.

Subjects covered will include - introduction to PDM, tailoring a strategy for your migration, tools and tool selection, working with third parties.

This workshop is designed to dynamically adjust to your project's status - be it at the project initialisation stage, a project that is already under way or one that is experiencing stresses that need to be resolved.

This is a workshop for project and programme managers responsible for large scale data migration projects.

PDM Certified Practitioner

Duration - 4 days

Intensive course with a certificated exam, providing the student with all the skills needed to lead, manage and be effective workers in large data migration projects.

Areas covered will include, legacy data store analysis, identifying key data stakeholders, use of system retirement policies, the data quality rules process including running data quality rules facilitated meetings, data migration architecture including tool evaluation and selection, migration strategy creation, use of modelling software and techniques, managing large migration projects including the management of third parties.

There is an element of evening work. The course is structured around a mock example project.
